OPPO today announced a price cut on two new smartphones. The company has slashed the price of the mid-range OPPO F11 Pro by Rs 2,000. Now, its price if further reduced by another Rs 2,000 which brings the retail down to Rs 20,990. However, the discount is only limited to the 6GB + 64GB storage variant. On the other hand, the OPPO A5 which was launched for Rs 12,990 gets a discount of Rs 1,000. Now, it can be purchased for Rs 11,990. The OPPO F11 Pro comes with a true full-viewable display with no notch or bezels.
It sports a 6.5-inch Full HD+ (2340 × 1080 pixels) display with 19:5:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Under the hood is the MediaTek Helio P70 octa-core processor clocked at 2.1GHz and comes coupled with the Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. On the rear, it comes equipped with a 48MP primary sensor with f/1.79 aperture and a 5MP secondary sensor. For selfies, there is a pop-up camera on the top edge, featuring a 16MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture.
The device runs on Android 9.0 Pie based Color OS 6.0 out of the box. It is backed by a 4,000mAh non-removable battery and 20W VOOC 3.0 flash charge technology. Talking about the OPPO A5, it was first launched almost a year ago in China. It packs a 6.2-inch HD+ (1520 x 720 pixels) display and comes powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor. There is 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage that can be further expandable up to 256GB using the MicroSD card slot.
