Samsung earlier this year introduced a new Galaxy M series of budget and mid-range phones in India. Taking on Xiaomi’s popular Redmi series, Samsung’s new Galaxy M phones offer a competitive set of specifications along with affordable price tags. Its Galaxy M10, Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M30 have received mostly positive reviews.

Samsung introduced big 5,000mAh battery to its budget smartphones with Galaxy M. Just like Galaxy M30, Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy M40 will sport a big 5,000mAh battery.For better performance, the phone will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor, according to the Geekbench listing. Note that Samsung Galaxy M40 was rumoured to run on in-house 7904 or 9610 Exynos processor. The listing reveals Samsung Galaxy M40 will house 6GB of RAM. According to reports, Samsung Galaxy M40 will launch with triple-rear cameras and an AMOLED display.

Galaxy M30, which is available online for Rs 14,990, also comes with a triple-rear camera setup featuring 13-megapixel, 5-megapixel and 5-megapixel ultra-wide sensors. It has a 16-megapixel camera for selfies. The smartphone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery along with a 15W Type-C charger. Galaxy M30 comes with a 6.4-inch FHD+ Infinity U Super AMOLED display, Exynos 7904 SoC, up to 6GB of RAM, and USB Type-C.
