Samsung is long rumored to launch the Galaxy M40 smartphone. While there is still no official confirmation from the company, the device is now showcased by the YouTube Technical Guruji. As per the latest rumors, the company will launch the Galaxy M40 in the Indian market on June 11th. The first look video reveals the device to sport Infinity-O display on the front. While the camera cuts out on the Galaxy S10e is placed on the top right corner, it is moved to the opposite side of the Galaxy M40.
The punches-hole display on they will be using a Super AMOLED panel. In terms of design, the Galaxy M40 looks exactly same as the Galaxy A60 launched in China. Both the power buttons and volume rocker are placed on the right edge. It comes with a triple camera setup on the rear. There is also a rear-facing fingerprint scanner. Under the hood, the device comes to power by the 11nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 Mobile Platform coupled with Kryo 460 CPU and Adreno 612 GPU.
The Galaxy M40 will become the Galaxy M smartphone to run on the latest Android 9.0 Pie based One UI out of the box. Currently, the Galaxy M30 priced at Rs 14,999 is the costliest Galaxy M smartphone. Now, the upcoming Galaxy M40 with better hardware will reportedly cost around Rs 20,000. As seen on the Galaxy M30, the Galaxy M40 might also come with a triple camera setup featuring an ultra-wide-angle sensor and a depth sensor. It's rumored to packs 5,000mAh battery and might support 15W fast charging.
