OPPO today launched the OPPO Reno smartphone at all-new Coral Orange color option. The company also launched the OPPO Reno Z smartphone in the Chinese market. Earlier this month, the company announced the Reno Z alongside the Reno and Reno 10x Zoom smartphones in Europe. While OPPO mentioned the Reno Z to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 Zoos in Europe, it is now launched in China with the MediaTek Helio P90 SoC.
The new Reno Z sports waterdrop notch display in a front-facing camera. From the rear, it looks similar to the other Reno smartphones. While there is no camera bump, the company added O-Dot ceramic point to protect the camera lens. It comes to 3D curved glass body with Aluminum mid-frame. The 6.4-inch display on the front offers Full HD+ resolution and 92% screen-to-body ratio.
OPPO Reno Z is powered by the 12nm Helio P90 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz. The device comes with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage. There is no MicroSD card support for further expansion of storage on this device. In the camera department, the OPPO Reno Z sports 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor and a 5MP depth sensor on the rear. While the flagship Reno smartphones came with the 16MP selfie camera, the Reno Z sports 32MP selfie camera.
As seen on the other Reno smartphones, the Reno Z also comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner. It is backed by a 4,035mAh non-removable battery and supports VOOC 3.0 flash charge technology for 20W fast charging. The OPPO Reno Z measures 157.3 × 74.9 × 9.1 mm and weighs 186 grams. The connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WI-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C port.
